Lauratu is a media development and communication for change professional with over 15 years media industry experience both local and international, Lauratu has over seven years’ experience in the development sector; leading technical work in the areas of the application of conflict sensitive communication, gender inclusion and communication for change approach in media contents, to address conflict and promote peacebuilding. 

Olaoluwa Abagun

Founder, Girls Pride Circle Initiative

Olaoluwa Abagun is a lawyer & unapologetic gender equality advocate. She was ushered into advocacy at the tender age of 13 as a Senator in the Nigerian Children's Parliament. She is the Founder of Girl Pride Circle, a registered NGO in Nigeria which advocates for girls’ rights and empowers girls to transform their communities. She envisions a Feminist world, where individuals thrive equally across socio-economic spaces regardless of gender. Everyday, this is the world she wakes up to build.

Sarah Egbo

Sarah Egbo is a gender and development expert with over six years of experience in the non- profit sector. She has a master's in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, United Kingdom. She is also a Chevening Scholarship alumna. She emphasizes that her educational experience at Sussex taught her invaluable knowledge and skills. The ongoing support from the university's dedicated staff and alumni network, sets it apart from studying elsewhere.

Shola Amoo

Shola studied at The National Film and Television School. His debut feature film, A Moving Image, had its World Premiere at The LA Film Festival 2016 in competition for the World Fiction prize, received The Special Recognition Award at The Blackstar Film Festival and  won the 2017 Screen Nation Award for the best independent production. Shola is currently developing a feature film called The Last Tree with the BFI.

Her aim is to flaunt the uniqueness and confident in every woman with comfortable, simple and trendy designs. As an advocate of body positivity and inclusiveness, her clothing line will use digital modelling to ensure sustainable consumption and production.

Chiamaka Chinwendu

Chiamaka is a certified project management professional and social sector manager with a background in Consulting and Development. Currently serving as Project Manager, Nigeria at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, she coordinates nationwide projects and drives Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives across the Africa team. She has also implemented programs like LEAP Africa across Africa. She holds a master’s in development economics and policy from the University of Manchester.

Lampe Omoyele

Managing Director, 141 Worldwide

Lampe Omoyele is a respected marketing expert with over 25 years’ experience gained with leading multinational companies. 

Mr. Omoyele has held numerous leadership positions such as marketing director roles at Cadbury, Airtel, PZCussons and Glaxo SmithKline and Managing Director, Nielsen West Africa. He is currently Managing Director, 141 Worldwide and Co-creator, the Lucent Consulting Company

Oladotun Olatunji

Business Analyst, Mobile Money & Special Projects (Digital Channels)

Oladotun holds MSc Sustainable Development from University of St Andrews. His MSc dissertation focused on enhancing market access for rural smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. He dreams of a time when there is collective effort by all global stakeholders, through result-driven actions, in the implementation of pro-poor policies which the poor become economically active, enable generation of sustainable income for households through agriculture and enhance accessibility to quality food.

Tolu Alalade Mosunmola

Educator, Lagos City Senior College, Sabo-Yaba

Tolu Alalade Mosunmola #WorldOfThanks story was selected as outstanding. Her story was written in appreciation of her Biology teacher in secondary who impacted her in her teenage years and whose lessons are now an inspiration for her now as a Biology teacher.
