Fatima Ahmed is a writer and public speaker in Kano State, Nigeria. She shares her story on the impact that the British Council had on her career and confidence from her first contact in 2003 when she represented her school in a writing contest and won. Through this experience, Fatima overcame the fear of writing and presenting herself and is now thriving in her craft.
