- The British Council has been made aware of fraudster(s) purporting to be the Department for Education in England, recruiting qualified teachers who are non-UK citizens to work in the United Kingdom.
- The Department for Education does not recruit teachers for schools in England.

- At the moment the British Council in Nigeria does not facilitate these routes.
