Moyo trained at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools in London. She has an extensive list of television credits in particular for the BBC. Moyo has also worked in many theatre’s across Britain with Olivier and Tony award winning directors in companies including The Shakespeare’s Globe. Moyo recently completed filming with The Fast & The Furious director, Rob Cohen on the feature The Hurricane Heist where she will be playing one of the leading roles.

She has extensive practical experience in research, interviewing experts, gathering first-hand insight, and presenting insightful analysis.
Mursal is now the Founder of ‘Chatterbox’ a social enterprise creating pathways to professional careers for refugees using their existing language skills.

Nadia has been working in the film industry for 13 years primarily as a Curator and Audience Development Specialist. In 2016 she presented a second edition of BEYOND NOLLYWOOD as part of the BLACK STAR season at the BFI Southbank. She has written two books which include and The Black British Filmmaker’s Guide to Success and The Nigerian Filmmaker’s Guide to Success: Beyond Nollywood. Currently, she is the UK Lead curator for the British Council Film Connections Programme.

In the final category, The Business and Innovation Award, Oluwafemi Adeola Adedipe, a graduate of the University of Southampton emerged as the winner. Oluwafemi is an entrepreneur focusing on financial access for underserved businesses across Nigeria’s informal sector.
He is the founder of StreetCred and Pistis Finserve, Pistis Sustainability Essay Competition as well as the Pistis Young Scholars Programme, a leadership development platform for high achieving students.
His companies have collectively provided more than N1 Billion (approx. $2.5 million) in loans to more than 10,000 women traders, artisans, and street vendors across Nigeria, serving customers from 34 business locations.
